On-body jewelry rendering and lifestyle visuals

Rings on hands, necklaces on necklines, earrings on models. Rendered from scratch or composited into photography you already own - without booking another shoot.

The scale problem & solution

Real-world scale, natural draping & skin interaction

A ring on a white background could be any size. On-body imagery answers what customers most want to know: how big is it, and how does it look worn? Explore our photorealistic on-body and lifestyle renders below - with accurate finger proportions, natural neckline draping, and realistic skin-tone interaction.

Two approaches

Fully rendered, or composited into your photos

Fully rendered on-body

We render the piece onto a 3D hand, neck or ear model. Complete control over pose, skin tone, lighting and framing, and no photography required at any stage.

Choose this when the piece does not exist yet, when you need many variants on the same pose, or when you want a consistent look across an entire collection.

Composited into existing photography

You send the model photographs you already own. We render the piece and integrate it into the shot, matching lighting direction, shadow, scale, depth of field and grain.

Choose this when you have brand photography you want to keep using, or you are adding new pieces to an established campaign look.

The hard parts are the ones customers notice without being able to name them: how a chain drapes on a real neckline, where the shadow falls under a ring, whether the depth of field matches the surrounding photograph, and whether polished metal picks up light from the actual environment in the shot. That is where the work goes.

Questions

On-body rendering FAQ

Can you match a specific skin tone?

Yes. Skin tone, hand shape, nail styling and lighting are all adjustable. Many brands order the same piece on two or three different skin tones so their product pages reflect their actual customer base.

What do you need to composite into my existing photos?

The original high-resolution photograph, a note or sketch showing where the piece should sit, any benchmark images for the look you want, and the piece itself as CAD or clear photographs. Uncompressed originals give a noticeably better result than exported web images.

Will it look obviously computer-generated?

Done properly, no. The tells are almost always lighting mismatch, wrong shadow direction, and depth of field that does not match the surrounding photo. We match all three, and we grain-match the composite so the piece sits in the same image rather than on top of it.

Can you show the same ring in several sizes on one hand?

Yes, and this is a popular request for engagement rings. One hand, one lighting setup, the same setting rendered at several carat weights, so a customer can compare directly rather than guessing from millimetre measurements.

Show customers how it wears

Send one piece and one model photograph. We will composite it and you can judge the result before committing to a collection.
