Jewelry rendering services from CAD or photos

Complete 3D jewelry presentation packages from $12: 20-second 360° spin video (30 fps, 600 frames, 1080p) across 3 metal colors, plus 4 camera angles and on-body images in 1500p resolution, delivered in 24 hours.

The short version

One model. Every image your channels need.

Photography gives you one piece, one finish, one angle, one shoot day. If the metal changes or the stone changes, you shoot again.

Rendering inverts that. We build the piece once as an accurate 3D model, and from that single asset we produce a white-background catalog shot, a lifestyle image, a rotating spin and every metal and gemstone combination you sell - without the piece ever needing to physically exist.

That is why a forty-piece collection does not cost forty separate projects, and why a rose gold variant costs a fraction of what a second photo shoot would.

3D jewelry rendering

Built from your CAD geometry, not approximated

Jewelry is the hardest product category to render convincingly, and the reason is physics rather than taste.

A diamond's brilliance is not a texture. It is light entering a transparent solid, bouncing between precisely angled facets and leaving at a different angle. Fake it and the illusion holds for exactly one static frame, then collapses the moment the piece rotates.

We render from real geometry with measured refractive indices, so the fire in the stone behaves the way it will in the customer's hand. Metal is treated the same way: polished platinum, brushed white gold and rhodium plating each reflect their environment differently, and that difference is what separates a render that sells from one that looks like clip art.

The practical result is that returns go down. A customer who receives what the image promised does not send it back.

Solitaire

Nothing hides a rushed render. Facets, girdle and prong tips are all fully exposed.

Pavé & micro pavé

Under 1mm, this is where most renders turn into grey mush at catalog resolution.

Channel

Clean parallel walls and even spacing, with no prongs available to hide a gap.

Deliverables

What you receive

Order any one of these on its own, or the full set for a collection.

01

Plain background catalog images

White, grey or black backgrounds for product pages, marketplaces and print catalogs. Every piece in a collection is lit with the same setup, so a customer scrolling your category page sees one coherent set rather than a mix of shoot days.

Delivered as PNG, JPG or TIFF at print and web resolution.

02

Lifestyle and on-model visuals

The piece worn on a hand, neck or ear, or composited into photography you already own. Scale is the reason this matters - a ring on a white background could be any size, but on a finger it is unmistakable.

03

360° spins and animation

A looping rotation that lets a customer inspect the piece from every angle, delivered as a video file or as a numbered frame sequence for an interactive viewer on your product page.

04

Metal and gemstone variants

Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, platinum and silver, with diamond, sapphire, emerald, ruby or any stone you specify. Variants come off the approved master model, so you are not paying for a fresh build each time.

Billed as additional views, not as new projects.

05

3D modeling from scratch

For pieces that do not exist yet, or exist only on paper. We model from your sketch, technical drawing or reference photographs, working to your stated measurements and asking before we guess.

The finished model is yours to keep.

06

Print-ready CAD files

Need the piece manufactured as well as pictured? The same model can be prepared as a casting-ready STL or 3DM file with correct wall thickness and stone seating.

Process

How a project actually runs

1

Send what you have

A CAD file, a sketch, a technical drawing or clear photographs. Any one of these is enough to begin.

2

We agree the look

We produce one test render and confirm metal tone, stone colour and camera angle before touching the rest of the set.

3

Production

The approved treatment is applied across every piece and every variant, so the whole collection stays consistent.

4

Delivery

Files arrive in the formats your channels need, with your original filenames and folder structure preserved.

Revisions are unlimited. We would rather agree the brief properly at the test-render stage than bill you for changes afterwards. If it is not right, we keep working until it is.

Getting started

What we need from you

Only the first item is essential. The rest speeds things up.

The design

A CAD file, sketch, technical drawing or clear photographs of a finished piece.

STL3DMOBJFBXSTEPIGESEPS

Materials and stones

Metal type and finish, gemstone types, cuts, carat weights and setting style. If you are unsure, send a reference piece and we will match it.

Style direction

Brands or images whose look you want, and where the images will be used. A marketplace listing and a launch campaign need different treatments - benchmark images are the fastest way to tell us which.

Deliverables

Which outputs and file formats your channels require. We deliver 1500×1500px PNG/JPG/TIFF for high-res images, and 1080×1080px MP4/MOV for 360° turntable animations.

Questions

About our rendering service

Do I need CAD files to order rendering?

No. Roughly half of our projects start with photographs or sketches instead. We model the piece from what you have, using your measurements, and confirm the interpretation with you before production begins.

What is included in the $12 Jewelry Rendering service?

For $12, you receive a complete presentation package for one piece: a 20-second 360° turntable spin video (30 fps, 600 frames, 1080p) rendered across 3 metal colors on any background color, plus 4 different angle render views and on-body images (1500p resolution) for all 3 metal colors. We also offer Jewelry CAD Services for $12, and our most popular Combo Bundle (CAD + Rendering) for only $20, saving you $4 per piece.

Will the render match my physical sample?

We match materials from your reference photographs and confirm the match on one piece before applying the treatment to the rest of the run. Metal tone and stone colour are signed off by you before the set is completed.

Can you keep a whole collection visually consistent?

Yes, and this is one of the strongest reasons to render rather than photograph. One approved lighting setup is applied to every piece in the collection, so your category page reads as a single coherent set instead of a mix of different shoot days.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, on request and at no cost. We do not publish client work without written permission, and unreleased designs are never shown in our portfolio.

What is the difference between rendering and retouching?

Retouching improves a photograph you already have. Rendering creates the image from a 3D model, so the piece does not need to exist and you can change metal, stone or angle freely. Rendering is the better choice for collections that are not yet manufactured.

What software do you render with?

Modelling is done in Rhino and Matrix, with rendering in KeyShot and V-Ray depending on the piece. What matters more than the software is the material library - our diamond cuts, gemstone shaders and precious-metal materials are already built and calibrated, which is why setup does not appear on your invoice.

My CAD file has errors. Can you still use it?

Usually yes. We inspect geometry before production and repair common problems such as open surfaces, wall thickness issues and stones sitting incorrectly in their seats. If a file is beyond repair we will tell you before starting rather than after.

Can you render micro pavé accurately at catalog resolution?

Yes, and it is the setting we are most often tested on. Stones under 1mm need correct individual geometry rather than a repeating texture, or the run reads as grey mush once the image is scaled down to a product thumbnail.
